How can I tell if she likes me?

There's this girl at my dance company and she's a level 6, while I'm a level 3. Because she's an amazing dancer she and her friends rarely look my way, and if they do, it's usually because they're thinking how I'm not as good as them (this is the way level sixes look at all the levels below them). Anyway, this girl was the teacher's assistant in one of my classes and it took me a while, but I realized I really like her. She's two years older than me, an incredible dancer, and very pretty. However, I always felt inferior around her, which caused me to clam up and avoid her gaze. By now I was pretty sure that she didn't like me, for she always seemed to ignore me and talk to the other girls, but then I started to notice her looking at me a lot. It seemed like whenever I got up the courage to look at her, she was looking my way, but then looked away the second she caught my eye. I know that she probably doesn't care at all about what I do, but then why is she always looking at me? Or is she looking at something behind me?...And what can I do to get her to like me?
