How to communicate better with my husband and know that is he really listening to me(not just hearing me)?

Lately it seems my husband isn't really listening to what I have to say when it comes to talking about his mom interferring too much into our lives (he gets very defensive if I say anything negative about his mom) or me helping out around the house/yard or raising our kids. (about his mom - he seems to be a 'momma's boy' and I know he is very close to her and they have a close relationship - and I'm not saying these things to make him mad or to complain about his mom but he needs to listen to what I have to say.) A family moved in next door to me about 4 or 5 months ago. The whole family is kinda strange but their son really creeps me out. White males with a felony are more likely to get a job than a black man without one, black males are 4x more likely to get pulled over and search than white makes who are actually 6x more likely to have an illegal substance on them,(DOJ statistics), whites make 40 to 60k more a year than blacks who have the same level of education and work experience. I cute my hair about a month ago into a pixie cut. It used to be down past my collar bone and I REALLY miss it ! There is a lot of issues at my current home. I am renting from my soon to be ex-husband's family. He lived in home with me for 4 of the 5 years that we have rented home. We never signed any agreements with family members. In fact all utility bills are in her name. He has left several messes in yard that I am unable to clean up. He also has broken kitchen cabinets. I cannot make these repairs. On that the Bible is not the only old book where insects legs were miscounted, as you put it. The other books have illustrated drawings to label what they called the legs instead, and the Bible does not. With out a clear cut idea as to what they were referring to, it is hard to give them the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I take it that either they were unable to count based on hunger or injury to the critter in question. Face it, if you hunt down a grasshopper, pulling a leg off here and there can and will happen. You also tend to miscount when hungry, it make it harder to pay attention.

Is it bad for a dog to be shut up in a 15' by 15' fenced in area, alone, for a week with no human interaction?

This dog has food, water and shelter. Even so, its been extremely hot out. 95 to 100 degrees.Theres also been some severe storms. the dog paces nervously when I come over to give it water. I am not allowed to let him out.he has bit someone before. I just put a hose in to make sure he has water. He has an automatic feeder full of food in there.He's not so bad that they can't be around him. I have seen the dog recently run around the front yard for about a minute. I think he just has potential to bite. The dogs demeaner seems playful and sweet at times(seeing him from across the street) but when he's in the fenced in area he paces and seems off. Only way I can think to describe it. just feel like somethings not right with the dog. Probably why they have him back there. I feel bad for this dog but I'm not sure if I'm worried about nothing.The caged in thing just seems bad for him but I think the owners feel they have no other choice. They are nice people. I just wonder if they may not realize it.They probably do spend time with it and play with him in the backyard and take him places for all I know. We're growing dill, parsley, chives and basil. Or might it be bad once we consume them? We didn't read the instructions properly so we've been giving it everyday instead of once a week but they are growing anyway, will just do it once a week now though. The stuff we're usiing is called "Feed Me" (a small yellow bottle of concentrate that makes 80 litres supposedly) Also trying to grow tomatoes and wild strawberries. Am I being paranoid or are my worries justified?

I live alone in an appartment that's in a bad neighborhood (strip club and crackhead motel beside it yards away) and about three weeks ago someone tried to break in through the window. My upstairs neighbors scarred him off but ever since then I have been extremly paranoid at night. By paranoid I mean I usually don't get to sleep before 3:00 in the morning and when I do try to sleep I sleep for a few minutes at a time and then im up at every slight noise. That usually goes on until it is daylight outside. Then I go into a deep sleep. The hospital diagnosed me with paranoid schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, and an anxiety disorder. To tell a little about my past mental state, earlier this year when I was not on meds I was convinced that members of my family where trying to murder me. Then I would have psycotic episodes involving me thinking a monster was entering my dreams and controling my actions. I honestly don't know if this paranoia I am experiencing is reasonable. I am on heavy psych meds right now and night is the only time it happens. I have resorted to desperate mesures to get to sleep and all any of it does is sidate me. That includes pot which does not make me paranoid but lazy and xanax that is not mine. The only thing that can make me sleep is if I take 2 or 3 mg of xanax with my five psych meds. Is this something my doctor needs to know about or is a moove needed. Also other than this I am doing very well with my mental state so that is why I am hesitant about telling him.

Maybe a seen 10 years later when Jem is successful and is a lawyer and at the same time Scout is in college in her dorm studying books about the morals and ethics of a good society. This would give the reader a feeling that event in the hardest events and even when the justice system didn't treat anyone equally or fairly and killed an innocent man (Tom Robinson), you can still accomplish your dreams. You really never know what will sell at a yard sale. Reason being is that people look for whatever they need at discount prices and people's needs vary. I used to volunteer at a school and we looked for stuff like craft supplies or books that people sold cheap to fill our library with. Another thing I did was ebay and I got clothes to sell. People look for everything and they usually do it on weekends because that is usually the time they have off from work and there is no business open to handle (bill pay sites, doctor's offices, schools). Kitchen supplies that you don't need seem to do well in yard sales because no one likes buying $40 worth of stuff new when they can get it in good condition for 2.00 altogether. lol. Alright, I take vyvance 60mg and unlike other people I have never had any side effects to it. But that's not really what this is about. I'm almost out with this prescription and I was thinking about just laying off it at least until college starts up. The reason it has taken me so long to want to go off it is because of how I act when I go off it for day or two. Basically when I'm off of it, I don't have much energy. Is My dog a monster, who needs to be put down?

I have a 2 year old Siberian Husky, we got her from my neighbors who got rid of her for killing a pot bully pig and a rabbit. But see there is a reason she killed it, they neighbors leave for a week at a time and won't feed the dogs in the back yard, and so they are all was hungry. ONe time they ask me to feed their dogs while they are gone and I did and they each had to have separate bowls so they did not fight,(or kill each other over food). The pig was in just a little enclosed area in the back yard with the dog as well as a the rabbit. We got her at about 7 months old and she as never killed anything since except maybe a bird in the back yard.I know husky have high prey drives. We have had cats in the past and she always plays with the cat, sometimes to rough but just playing, now baby kittens is another story we have to keep them away from them because Im afraid she would, but never has, She even leaves with a ferret in the house, and the cage is in the same room as her. When the ferret comes out of the cage we have to lock her in another room, but other then that she does not bother it. With the ferret im not even sure she wants to kill it I think she just wants to play but doesn't get small animals don't play the same as her. But ever since he had this girl move in who isnt on the lease she has been telling my finace and I what she does and doesnt want us to do with our apartment. Telling us to keep our dog on a leash (he's a 10 lb. chihuahua) and not put our cigarte butts in front of OUR door. She mouths off comments to us every time we are outside. She has her dog out all day and we can't even use our yard. They smoke pot in their garage every night and have all their friends over every night drinking and standing around in the driveway till all hours of the night. To make a long story short, I am a 42 year old virgin that has attempted time and time again to have a girlfriend. I would eventually like to marry. I had an Invisible Fence installed to back up my chain link. That solved the problem of my dogs trying to dig out. It's also nice because I can open the big gate to bring the lawn mower in and they won't try to run out. The main thing with an Invisible Fence is taking the time to train them so they understand it.

The more mental and physical stimulation she gets, the less likely she'll have the energy or time to get into the stuff she shouldn't. Border Collies can run and herd ALLLLL DAY, so these dogs have tons of energy and need exercises that keep them engaged, interested, and satisfied. Just because the dogs have so much land to explore doesn't mean that's enough to make them all happy. A yard, no matter what the size, simply becomes a giant kennel after a while....so it's normal for some dogs to become extremely bored and find other ways to entertain themselves.

What is happening to our animals?!?

I live in a subdivision with them all around. We foster cats, and they have been dissapering.. We have had rain all week almost so maybe coyotes are coming around but i have no idea. We checked the pound for our kitty and it wasnt there... Its a white fat cat with 3 legs(Born that way) and the prettiest eyes...It was a spayed female...And it always sat in our yard! The about 4 days ago in the morning was the last time we saw her... No idea where she is..And BEFORE that, One of our black male cats looked like somone is playing a sick joke. How can I win back my girlfriend?

Me and my girlfriend have dated for almost 9 months and we've had our ups and downs like most couples. The only thing is we lack communication mostly on her end. I can talk enough for both of us because she never wants to say anything. To my belief I think she is depressed, she has had a rough childhood and past and blames a lot of herself for things that have gone wrong. Yea sounds like you have a few problems if I read that correctly, leave the car running on a flat spot, check the dipstick for tranny fluid should be to the right of the engine bay on your specific car, make sure to pull it out wipe and dip it, has to be at the second dot, it would only be doing that if the fluid is unreasonably low, if its not low and its full of fluid, your gear are probably starting to slip, high rpms while going a decent amount of speed is a sign of tranny failing, so is revving high before it goes, usually it bangs when it kicks in, if everything is banging a lot and making the interior of the car shake obnoxiously it could be the motor mounts, before you do ANY maintenance done and waste your money, get it diagnosed by a trusted friend that knows a lot about cars, when something is wrong with a car and you tell the mechanic to just FIX IT and you say you don't know what it is or much about cars they see jackpot and rip you off, so find someone who won't charge you to diagnose the problem and give you a quote, another good tip if your using a mechanic shop to fix it, tell them you'll buy the parts and bring them in, mechanics buy the cheapest brand, lowest quality part and charge you like they bought the best one, I'm not stereotyping mechanics, because i am one lol and i know all the ripping off that goes on, and honestly if any repair cost over $1000, i'd say scrap it, you get like $400 to junkyard a car depending on how much scrap they get out of it and model/make, because spending $1000 or more on a car that is 15 years old is just a terrible investment, for example, take the $400 and the $1000 that "say" it costs to fix your car, give or take a few hundred bucks and you get a decent reliable high 90s early 2000's 4 cylinder car, just trying to help people out who don't know much about cars, cause everyone gets ripped off these days it sucks, they should make automotive a mandatory class in middle/highschool cause everyone needs to drive and everyones car is gunna break some day, instead of them getting ripped off they'll have knowledge of what wrong atleast, ok i'm done preaching, good luck!
