Is anyone ashamed at how many people in California were cheering for the Mexico to beat the U.S.?

I'm an American of Mexican ancestry and I know that there are many illegals in California, but most of the "Mexicans" in that stadium were probably Americans of Mexican ancestry. Do you think it is shameful that they were cheering for a country that treats their people like crap and where the white elite look at the mestizos and indians as inferior?
